Winder

Keck & Wood proposed drainage, transportation, water, and sewer improvements in Winder, GA, which will occur throughout two unique phases. The first phase will address drainage issues from E. Midland Avenue to the railroad culvert and basin outfall. The second phase will replace 18” and 24” stormwater pipes along E. Stephens and Georgia Avenue with 48” RCP pipes and install a detention pond at this intersection with a capacity of 240,000 cubic feet. These improvements will increase the efficiency of the drainage system, reduce gutter spread, dramatically decrease flooding, and ensure the safety of water and sewer facilities for residents.
