The Lee Byrd Road Culvert Replacements involved replacing two culverts at different locations along the road within a tight three-month timeline to reopen the road before the school year began. At Big Flat Creek, a bridge was replaced with a double 10’ x 12’ concrete box culvert, including utility coordination, streambank improvements, and relocation of an 8-inch waterline. The work also involved grading, erosion control, traffic controls, and road reconstruction. South of Homer Moon Drive, a 24-inch pipe culvert was replaced with a 48-inch pipe culvert, with associated clearing, grading, pavement replacement, and roadside improvements. Both projects included extensive erosion control and traffic management to ensure safe and efficient completion.
