This project begins with downloading all applicable GDOT plan files, converting digital files to the correct format, and setting up base drawing files in AutoCAD. Keck + Wood will then assess existing natural gas facilities and conduct a detailed conflict analysis. Then, the Draft Relocation Plan Development will work to avoid conflicts surrounding storm drainage, clearance, and accessibility issues. Once relocations are approved, we will finalize plans into 44-Series Plans. Keck & Wood will then prepare and submit a GDOT utility aid request to cover natural gas facility relocation costs. This thorough method ensures the SR44 Gas Main Extension project’s efficient, safe, and cost-effective completion.
