Keck & Wood developed a Stormwater Annual Contract to help the City implement its capital improvements program funded by the stormwater utility fee, accelerating project timelines. This approach allowed KW to design and manage numerous stormwater projects for Doraville, totaling over $2 million. A key project was the McClave Drive Stormwater Repairs, which expanded from a $110,000 pipe replacement to a multi-phased project with a $520,000 budget due to deteriorating upstream infrastructure. The Moss Oak Drive stormwater rehabilitation in Doraville involved aging corrugated metal pipes in the Oakcliff neighborhood, which required trenchless rehabilitation methods. Cured in place pipe (CIPP) using ultraviolet curing was chosen to address the system’s geometry and accessibility issues while minimizing environmental impacts.
