Keck & Wood will prepare conceptual designs for streambank stabilization along Richland Creek, offering at least two design options with budget estimates for both design fees and construction costs. The designs will include stream buffer restoration plans with structural and vegetative measures, grading plans, cross sections, and standard details. Additionally, recommendations for vegetation planting will be provided.

A hydraulic analysis of Richland Creek will be performed using the existing HEC-RAS model from the FEMA Engineering Library. This analysis will be updated to include the existing bridge and additional cross sections to assess existing velocities and inform the design options. Permitting requirements, including potential GAEPD Buffer variance and US Army Corps permits, will be determined depending on the chosen design. Preliminary budget estimates for both design and construction will also be prepared, and coordination with the Owner will ensure input on the design and channel structures.
