Turner Lake Road

The Turner Lake Road project will widen the road from 2-lanes with rural shoulders to 4-lanes with a raised median and urban shoulders, including a shared use path. Traffic analysis via GDOT Planning methodology and GDOT ICE policy were followed to design three major intersections. One signal modification, one signal replacement, and a hybrid roundabout are proposed for these intersections. A high-T intersection is proposed for an intersection along Brown Bridge Road. The project includes turn lane improvements, vertical alignment corrections, two RRFBs for mid-block crossings, a pedestrian culvert under Turner Lake, and corridor lighting.  Services include traffic, operations, roadway design, survey, environmental coordination, MS4 analysis, geotechnical investigations, and right of way acquisition services.
