E. Cherokee @ Mill Street

This project proposed to install a signal lane roundabout at the intersection of E. Cherokee Drive and Mill Creek. A fourth leg of the intersection was design with extensive coordination of a proposed new development. The roundabout was situated in a horizontal and vertical curve with adjacent neighborhood entrance signing and fencing on the east side. In order to reduce impacts, the roundabout was shifted west and the ROW was coordinated with the new development. The roundabout was also design above grade with consideration to utilities and almost all utilities had no impact other than a short section of gas line. Services provided include Concept and Roadway design, traffic analysis, survey, and utility coordination.
