Winthrop Fountain

Keck & Wood developed the plan to remove the existing fountain (dated back from 1918), and
designed a replacement of equal size. The new fountain design incorporates pedestrian accessibility, as well as ample seating for visitors. Operationally, the fountain will take advantage of modern, low maintenance and long lifecycle pumps, valves and filtration systems. The hardscape around the fountain will be enhanced with brick and concrete paved surfaces and seating that will serve the students and community for generations to come.
