GDOT Regional Ops Improv (D1, 2, 5, 7)

The Keck & Wood team was involved in various tasks, including screening potential intersections, analyzing operational improvements, and identifying the project delivery method based on available funding. They coordinated with local municipalities and stakeholders, developed full design plans, and streamlined the project delivery process by proposing faster approval methods and identifying projects for the Menu of Service Design (MOSD). The project resulted in upgrades to intersections, interchanges, and roadways, improving capacity and reducing delays through additional lanes, signal timing adjustments, pavement reallocation, striping changes, and innovative intersection designs.
