N. Peachtree Rd. Ped & Bike Improv.

The City of Doraville received LCI Funds to improve New Peachtree Road, a key artery near its civic center and the Doraville MARTA Station. The road will undergo a “road diet,” reducing from five lanes to three, freeing up space for bicycle lanes and improved pedestrian facilities, including ADA-compliant sidewalks and vegetative buffers. Additional upgrades will include new traffic signals, pedestrian and bicycle crossings, street lighting, curb ramps, and landscaping to enhance the overall transportation environment.
